  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 baked pastry shell
  • 6 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract

Directions

    Mix sugar and flour.

    Beat eggs and add to first mixture along with vinegar, butter and boiling water. Cook over low heat until thick, then remove and stir in lemon extract.

    Pour into baked pastry shell. Add meringue and brown.
