- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 baked pie shell
- 1 recipe meringue
Directions

1Combine flour and 1/2 cup sugar in double boiler.

2Stir in 1 cup boiling water.

3Cook for 15 minutes.

4Stir in 1 cup boiling water.

5Cook for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.

6Add remaining 1/2 cup sugar and egg yolks.

7Cook until thickened, stirring frequently.

8Add butter and vinegar.

9Pour into pie shell.

10Cover with meringue, sealing to edge.

11Bake at 400° for several minutes, or until brown.
