- 4 c. flour
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 egg
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar and salt.

2Cut in shortening until mixture is crumbly. Combine water, vinegar and egg. Beat well with fork. Add shortening. Stir well.

3Chill 2 hours before using.

4Makes enough for a large cobbler.
