Ingredients

  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
  • dash of salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. vinegar

Directions

    Boil together until it crackles.

    Pour in buttered pan to cool and until you are able to handle it.

    Pull until porous. Twist and put in pan to set.

    Chop in pieces.
