Ingredients

  • 2 ounces gin
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 ounce Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 ounce Creme de violette (violet-flavored liqueur)
  • 1/2 ounce half-and-half
  • 1 large egg white
  • Ice
  • 2 ounces chilled club soda
  • 1 fresh edible violet or crushed candied violets (optional)

Directions

    In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients except the ice, club soda and violet.

    Shake well for 10 seconds.

    Add ice and shake for 10 more seconds.

    Strain the drink into a chilled highball glass, top with the club soda and garnish with the violet.
