  • 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 6 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. distilled vinegar
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Sift in ungreased square pan or Pyrex dish flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt.

    Mix with fork until well blended.

    Add oil, vinegar, vanilla and water.
  4. 4
    Mix with fork, but do not beat.

    Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Frost the top of cake or sprinkle with 10x sugar.

    Cut right in pan.
