  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 6 Tbsp. melted shortening
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cook flour and milk until thick.

    Cool thoroughly.

    Mix and blend until creamy the rest of the ingredients and then add flour mixture.

    Put cake circle back onto cupcake and ice with either vanilla or chocolate icing.
