- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Heat waffle iron to medium heat. Drop eggs into bowl. Add milk and mix until blended. Put butter in a small saucepan and melt over low heat.

2Be careful not to let butter burn. Stir butter into the egg mixture.

3Presift the flour, then sift measured flour with baking powder, salt and sugar.

4Stir into egg mixture.

5Pour a little butter on waffle iron.

6Pour batter onto iron and cook. Serves 6 waffles.
