- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 12 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 12 tablespoons shortening
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 3 medium walla walla onions, peeled and chopped
- 12 cup evaporated milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400F.

2Grease a cookie sheet with shortening or non-stick spray.

3Mix dry ingredients together; cut in shortening.

4Saute onions in butter until translucent.

5Add to flour mixture with milk.

6Mix until blended.

7Form dough into ball.

8Roll out on floured surface about 1/2 inch thick.

9Cut with biscuit cutter or knife and place on cookie sheet.
