- 1 c. butter, softened or margarine
- 1/4 c. sugar
- few grains salt
- pinch of baking powder
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
- about 1 c. confectioners sugar
Directions

1In medium-size bowl, mix butter, sugar, salt and baking powder.

2Stir in flour and walnuts.

3If mixture is too soft to handle, chill and refrigerate for a few hours.

4Roll into 1-inch balls.

5Bake at 300°

6for 50 to 60 minutes.

7Cool on wire rack 30 minutes and shake 4 at a time in bag with confectioners sugar. Great for the holidays.
