- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. + 1 tsp. corn syrup
Directions

1Melt butter over low heat; add sugar, stirring constantly until dissolved.

2Add water and syrup.

3Cook on low until brittle (290°).

4Remove from heat; stir in walnuts.

5Spread in greased jellyroll pan; cool until hard.

6Melt chocolate and pour over crunch; sprinkle with finely chopped nuts.

7Elevate pan to cool so it doesn't continue to cook.
