Walnut-Crusted Chicken Breast

  • 3 skinless boneless chicken breast
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 cup panko
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • salt
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees

    In a shallow dish, combine the panko with the cumin. Set aside

    Add walnuts to a food processor and process until they are finely chopped then add to the same dish as the panko.

    Whisk the egg white and Dijon mustard together in a separate shallow dish. Set aside. Season chicken with salt and pepper

    Dip each chicken breast into the egg white mixture then the walnut mixture, Be sure to fully coat the chicken.

    Place the chicken in a baking dish and repeat the process for each breast Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
