Walnut Fried Shrimp

- 1 lb. extra large fresh shrimp
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 c. ground walnuts
- vegetable oil
Directions

1Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tails intact.

2Rinse well and set aside.

3Combine flour, pepper and salt; stir well.

4Combine milk and eggs; stir well.

5Dip shrimp in egg mixture; dredge in flour mixture.

6Dip shrimp in egg mixture again and dredge in ground walnuts.

7Place coated shrimp on a wax paper lined baking sheet; cover and freeze 2 hours.

8Fry shrimp, a few at a time, in deep hot oil (350°) 3 minutes or until golden brown.

9Drain on paper towels.

10Serves 3.
