  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. flour

    Cook beets until tender.

    Let cool.

    Take off peel.

    Grate beets as for Borsch.

    Melt butter; add grated beets, salt, sugar and lemon juice.
