  • 1/2 c. hazelnuts or walnuts
  • 8 to 9 oz. Brie
  • 4 sheets filo dough
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 c. peanut oil
  • 4 c. curly endive, washed, dried and torn into bite-sized pieces
