- 1/2 c. hazelnuts or walnuts
- 8 to 9 oz. Brie
- 4 sheets filo dough
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. peanut oil
- 4 c. curly endive, washed, dried and torn into bite-sized pieces
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350°.

2Place hazelnuts on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.

3Cool and rub in a dish towel to remove the skin.

4Chop the hazelnuts finely and set aside.
