- 5 potatoes
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon vegeta seasoning
- 12 cup water
- 12 cup white wine vinegar or 12 cup white wine
- 12 cup chopped green onion
- pepper
Directions

1Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

2Add potatoes; cook until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes.

3Drain, cool, peel and slice into circles about 1/2 inch thick.

4Place bacon in a large, deep skillet.

5Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown.

6Take out the bacon,crumble and set aside.

7To the bacon fat add the flour, sugar, water and vinegar to skillet and cook over medium heat until it thickens.

8Add bacon, potatoes and green onions to skillet and stir until coated.

9Cook until potatoes absorb most of the liquid.

10Season with vegeta and pepper.

11Serve warm.
