  • 4 medium (4 cups) pears, cored, peeled, sliced 1/2-inch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup uncooked quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
  • Land O Lakes Heavy Whipping Cream or ice cream, if desired

    Heat oven to 375F.

    Place pears into ungreased 8-inch square baking pan.

    Sprinkle with lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg.

    Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter in bowl.

    Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

    Sprinkle evenly over pears.

    Bake 40-50 minutes or until pears are fork tender and top is golden brown.
