Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic bud, diced
  • 5 or 6 potatoes, cut into bite size
  • 3 or 4 carrots, cut into bite size
  • 2 or 3 stalks celery, cut into bite size
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. lean ground beef (roll to meatball size)
  • 1 tall can V-8 juice

Directions

    In a large pot put onion, garlic and meat balls.

    Cover with water and bring to boiling.
  3. 3
    Cook meat balls so they will hold their shape.
  4. 4
    Add celery, potatoes, carrots and add V-8 juice. Add more water if needed to cover all vegetables and meatballs. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 1 hour.

    Serve with garlic bread.
