  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • pinch salt
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 scallions
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dark rum or gin
  • 1/2 pound large fresh shrim in shell

Directions

    Heat a wok or 10 inch skillet. Add oil salt and garlic and saute 1 minute. Add shrimp, ginger and scallions and cook uncovered until the shrimp just turn pink do not over cook. Take off heat, add the soy and rum. cover and let sit 5 minutes.
