- 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour or 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 1 cup oatmeal, processed in blender
- 23 cup flax seed meal
- 1 12 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 13 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 34 cups skim milk
- 14 cup oil (I use canola)
- 1 egg
Directions

1Place all wet ingredients in mixing bowl.

2Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl.

3With mixer running, add dry to wet a few spoonfuls at a time until batter consistency is reached.

4Cook on preheated waffle maker approximately 3 minutes.
