  • 1 (16 to 17 oz.) can yellow creamed corn
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. fat
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped sweet pepper
  • 1/2 c. dry corn meal
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Brown meat in fat.

    Add onion and pepper.

    Remove from heat. Combine with meat mixture.

    Turn into 1 1/2-quart baking or casserole dish.
