  • 2 lbs round steaks, 1/4 in thick
  • 14 cup onion, chopped
  • 12 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 12 cup barbecue sauce, smokey
  • 34 cup water
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Directions

    Pound steaks to flatten; season with salt and pepper.

    Cut each steak into 3 strips; sprinkle with onions and peppers.

    Roll up beef enclosing peppers and onions; tie closed with string.

    Heat skillet with oil to medium/medium-high heat and brown all sides.

    Add BBQ sauce and water.

    Cover and simmer 1-1 1/2 hours until tender.

    Serve over egg noodles or rice.
