  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 3/4 c. uncooked converted rice
  • 16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
  • 16 oz. can green peas, drained
  • 1 c. grated cheese

Directions

    In medium skillet, brown meat, stirring frequently.

    Stir in soup mixture, water, rice and tomatoes and peas.

    Bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, for 20 to 25 minutes until rice is tender.

    Top with cheese.
