- 1 (8 oz.) bottle Catalina French dressing
- 2 lb. beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 1/4 c. water
- 4 small potatoes, quartered
- 1 1/2 c. carrots, sliced
- 2 small onions, quartered
- 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Pour dressing over meat; cover and marinate in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.

2Drain, reserving marinade.

3In Dutch oven, brown meat over low heat.

4Add marinade and 2 cups water.

5Cover and simmer 2 hours.

6Add vegetables and continue to simmer for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

7Gradually add remaining water to flour, stirring until well blended. Gradually add flour mixture to hot meat and vegetables, stirring constantly until mixture boils and thickens.

8Simmer 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

9Makes 6 to 8 servings.
