Ingredients

  • 6 pounds pork back ribs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 2 cans beer or apple juice
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 onion (medium), finely diced
  • 1-1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1 cup worchestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

    Mix fist 6 ingredients together in a stock pot.

    Cook over high heat until mixture comes to a boil and then reduce heat to low.

    Cook for 1 hour.

    Add remaining ingredients in small pot and bring to a boil.

    Reduce to simmer and cook for about 30 minutes.

    Put ribs on medium BBQ and slather with rib sauce, turning twice and slathering each time. They are already cooked so your just carmelizing the sauce.

    Serve with remaining sauce.
