- 2 c. chopped nuts
- 2 egg whites
- 1 c. light brown sugar, sifted
Directions

1Heat oven to 250°.

2Lightly grease cookie sheet with unsalted shortening. Mix nuts in flour. Beat egg whites to soft peaks; add sugar slowly beating until stiff. Fold nuts and flour into beaten egg whites. Drop mixture by teaspoons about 1 1/2-inches apart onto cookie sheet. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool slightly before removing cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
