- 3 c. flour, sifted
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Let butter come to room temperature in large mixing bowl.

2Add sugar and cream well.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4Stir cream of tartar into flour.

5Alternate adding flour and cream, beating well.

6Add vanilla.

7Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 325° in a greased and floured tube pan.
