- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
- 1 c. water
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. shredded coconut (optional)
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. whiskey
Directions

1Combine first 5 ingredients; beat until smooth and fold in nuts and coconut if desired.

2Pour into ungreased tube or Bundt pan.

3Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

4Five minutes before cake is done, melt 1 stick butter with 1/2 cup sugar.

5Heat well, do not boil. Add 1/2 cup whiskey.

6Mix well.

7Remove cake from oven.

8Make holes in cake.

9Pour butter mixture slowly over cake to fill holes.

10Leave cake in pan and refrigerate 24 hours.
