- 6 to 6 1/2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1In large bowl, combine 4 cups flour, sugar, dissolved yeast and salt.

2Heat milk, butter and water until warm.

3Stir into dry ingredients.

4Stir enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead on floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8 to 10 minutes.

5Cover; let rise until double, 10 minutes or more.

6Keep in warm place out of draft.
