- 8 egg whites
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 1/2 c. cake flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Beat egg whites until they peak, but are not dry.

2Set aside. Cream butter and sugar. Sift dry ingredients together.

3Add alternately with milk to the creamed mixture.

4Fold in vanilla and egg whites. Pour into 3 greased and floured cake pans.

5Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
