- 1 c. white chocolate
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. coconut
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Melt white chocolate in microwave; let cool slightly.

2Cream butter and sugar until light.

3Add chocolate.

4Then add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.

5Sift dry ingredients and add to egg mixture, alternating with buttermilk.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour for angel food pan or 40 minutes for layered (three 9-inch round pans).

7Cool before icing.
