  • 3 qt. chocolate chip cookies (2 inch)
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 5-1/3 cups white chocolate, finely chopped, divided
  • 2 qt. Hot prepared Jell-O Vanilla Pudding & Pie Filling
  • 8 each chocolate chip cookies (2 inch)
  • 3 qt. prepared Dream Whip Dessert Topping Mix

    For each pie: Mix 3 cups (750 mL) cookie crumbs with 1/4 cup (50 mL) butter until well blended; press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate.

    Refrigerate until ready to fill.

    Add 3-1/2 oz.

    (100 g) of the white chocolate to 2 cups (500 mL) hot pie filling; stir until chocolate is completely melted.

    Pour into crust.

    Refrigerate several hours or until filling is firm.

    Meanwhile, melt 5 oz.

    (140 g) of the remaining white chocolate; cool to 90 degrees F. Spread into 1/8-inch-thick layer on sheet of parchment paper; top with 2 broken cookies.

    Let stand until chocolate is firm.

    Coarsely break into pieces.

    Spoon 3 cups Dream Whip over pie; spread to cover top of pie, mounding slightly in centre.
