- 1 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. hot water
- 1/4 lb. white chocolate
- 3/4 c. milk
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt chocolate with hot water in top of double boiler.

2Let cool.

3Mix Crisco and sugar; beat well.

4Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

5Add cooled chocolate.

6Add flour and milk alternately, flour being added first and last.

7Add vanilla.

8Bake at 300° in a tube pan for 1 1/2 hours.
