  • 1/2 c. egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 lb. pulverized sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. Crisco
  • 1 tsp. white vanilla

Directions

    Heat eggs and sugar to 150° on candy thermometer in a double boiler.

    Then beat until white like a meringue.

    In a large mixing bowl, mix sugar and Crisco with pie blender.

    Slowly pour egg white mixture into Crisco mixture, beating as you do it.

    Add vanilla and whip with mixture.

    Stores in refrigerator for months.
