  • 1 lb. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 10 eggs
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract
  • 1 can walnuts
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/3 c. brandy
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 lb. S & W fruit mix

    Cream butter and sugar; add vanilla and extracts.

    Beat egg yolks.

    Sift flour and baking powder.

    Add into the mixture.

    Beat egg whites and mix into batter.

    Add 1/3 cup brandy.

    Bake at 275° for 2 hours.

    Temperature can be raised to 300°.
