  • 1 lb. pineapple (candied)
  • 1 lb. cherries (candied)
  • 1/2 box white raisins
  • 2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 lb. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring

Directions

    In large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour and vanilla. Mix in fruit and nuts. (May have to mix with hand.) Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake in preheated oven at 275° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Cool about 30 minutes. Loosen edges and remove from pan.
