  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 (No. 2) can sliced pineapple, cut in small pieces
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 1 lb. white raisins
  • 1/2 lb. fine coconut
  • 1/2 lb. candied cherries
  • 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1/2 lb. nuts, chopped

    Grease and flour 2 loaf pans.

    Bake over a pan of water to keep cake moist.

    Bake 1 hour at 225°, then 1 hour at 250°, and then 1/2 hour at 300°.
