- 5 eggs
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 lb. cherries (candied)
- 1 lb. pineapple (candied)
- 4 c. pecans
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
Directions

1Chop nuts and fruit.

2Dredge with 1/4 cup flour.

3Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

4Add well beaten eggs and blend well.

5Sift remaining flour and baking powder together.

6Pour into eggs and butter mixture.

7Add vanilla and lemon extract.

8Add fruit and nuts.

9Blend well with your hands.

10Grease pan well, pour in batter and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300°.
