- 1 lb. nuts, chopped
- 1 lb. white raisins
- 1 c. whole candied cherries
- 3 small jars candied pineapple
- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 tsp. lemon
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar together.

2Add eggs, 1 at a time.

3Add lemon and vanilla.

4Add flour to batter (reserving a little to coat fruits and nuts).

5Mix well.

6Add cherries, pineapple, raisins and nuts.

7Bake at 250° in angel food pan or 2 loaf pans for 2 to 3 hours.

8Decorate the top with some fruit and bake until light brown.
