  • 2 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 12 oz. candied cherries
  • 12 oz. white raising
  • 24 oz. whole pecans

Directions

    Mix together sugar, margarine, and eggs.

    Mix together flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt.

    Add both together and mix well.

    Add cherries, raisins, and pecans.

    Line 2 loaf pans with foil.

    Add batter and bake at 275° for 2-1/4 hours.

    When cool, wrap in cloth dampened with orange juice for 1 week.
