- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. corn syrup
- dash of salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Scald milk; stir in sugar, corn syrup and salt.

2Cook and gently stir to 236°.

3Remove from heat.

4Add butter and let cool to lukewarm.

5Add vanilla and beat until thick and not glossy. Add 1 cup broken nuts, if desired.

6Spread in buttered pan.

7Chill and cut into pieces.
