- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cream or evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. Marshmallow Creme
- 1/4 c. chopped candied fruits
Directions

1Combine first four ingredients in saucepan.

2Heat to boiling over medium heat.

3Continue cooking, stirring frequently, to 236° (soft ball stage).

4Remove from heat.

5Add butter and extract. Cool to lukewarm.

6Beat until mixture holds its shape and then add Marshmallow Creme and fruit.

7Beat until thick and then spread quickly in lightly buttered pan.

8When firm, mark into squares. Makes about 1 1/2 pounds.
