White Lemon Fruitcake

- 2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 lb. white raisins
- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 c. cake flour
- 2 oz. pure lemon flavoring
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar well.

2Add eggs, beaten 1 at a time. Add flour a little at a time, then add flavoring, nuts and raisins.

3Place in a greased and floured tube pan; bake at 250° to 275° for 2 hours, until light brown.

4Makes a big cake.
