  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 c. egg whites
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Boil the sugar, corn syrup and water to 242°.

    Beat egg whites stiff.

    Pour hot syrup mixture in a thin steady stream into egg whites.

    Continue beating until it holds very stiff peaks.

    Blend in vanilla.
