  • 2 c. flour
  • a little over 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • butter (size of walnut), melted
  • 1 egg, beat until light
  • 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 c. milk

    Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

    Melt the butter.

    Add beaten egg and milk.

    Add to dry ingredients. Stir well.

    Grease muffin tin and fill half full.

    Bake at 375° for about 25 to 30 minutes or until brown.
