- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Melt the butter or margarine over low heat.

2Blend in 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt.

3Heat until mixture bubbles.

4Remove from heat.

5Add gradually, stirring in 1 cup milk.

6Cook rapidly, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Cook 2 minutes longer.

7Makes 1 cup.
