- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 c. water
- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Combine cake mix, water, oil, eggs, and 1/2 can condensed milk.

3Beat well with mixer.

4Spread 1/2 of batter in a 9x13 buttered cake pan.

5Bake approximately 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.

6(Cake will be pulling away from sides of pan.)

7Melt caramels, remaining milk and nuts.

8Pour over hot cake, then add remaining 1/2 batter on top.

9Spread evenly and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
