- 5 c. flour
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cooking oil
- 1 egg
Directions

1Add yeast to water; set aside to soften.

2Heat milk in large pan until bubbles form at the edges.

3Add salt, milk and oil, then cool mixture to lukewarm.

4Add 2 cups flour; stir to make a smooth batter.

5Add egg and yeast; blend well.

6Add remaining flour to form dough.

7Knead dough on floured board until smooth.

8Let it rise in greased, covered pan until double in bulk.

9Fold dough down.

10Let it rest 5 minutes.

11Shape into rolls or loaves in greased pans.

12Let rise until double in bulk.

13Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes for rolls or 25 to 30 minutes for loaves.
