- 1 c. oatmeal
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. yeast
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1/4 c. sugar or 1/2 c. honey
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- bread flour
Directions

1Put oatmeal into boiling water and let stand.

2Dissolve yeast in warm water.

3Add oil; add oatmeal mixture and all other ingredients.

4Mix well as you go along.

5Add bread flour until you get a stiff workable dough.

6Knead well.

7Let rise.
-
8Knead again and shape into loaves.

9Let rise and bake at 350° until done (approximately 20 to 25 minutes).
