Whole Wheat Honey Bread

- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 1/2 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/3 c. instant nonfat dry milk
- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Measure all-purpose flour and whole wheat flour into a bowl; stir to mix.

2Set aside.

3Combine warm water, shortening, dry milk, yeast, honey, salt and 3 cups of flour mixture in largest mixer bowl.

4Mix well on low speed, scraping sides and bottom of bowl often.

5Beat for 3 minutes at medium speed.

6Gradually stir in remaining flour by hand to make a very stiff dough.

7Cover and let rest 15 minutes.
